Meet Sparko, a big Corso cross who needs to find a loving and caring forever or foster home.

He is just 11 months old and he has not had the best start in life. His original family kept him on chain in the back garden 24/7, before deciding they didn't want him anymore. Sparko faced the possibility of being used as a bait dog, but a temporary owner has stepped in to save him from being given away to the first person that came along - by finding a new home he deserves!

He is currently living in a stable, which isn't ideal but is a lot better than his previous prospects.

​

Sparko has been described as a big lad with a really good nature! He is fine to walk and just wants to play! He is a little unsure around smaller dogs and has not had contact with cats. However, he does live around horses and goats at the moment with no issues.

He did have some association with children in his previous family, but due to his size is considered only suitable for teenage, dog-savvy children!

He has no known issues, but will be subject of an assessment later this week to verify this.

He is vaccinated, but not neutered - which will be sorted after he is rehomed.

​

Sparko did spend one night in a house recently and was clean, but has lived outside all his life so work will be needed with house training!

​

He is a large dog who will only get bigger, so he needs an owner that has breed experience and time to commit to him!
